The Repetition of What Has Been Experienced
How swiftly two walkers distance themselves from one
another:
he in the direction of point A, her mother-in-law, she in the
direction of point B, his mother-in-law.
How much water has been used in the five years of bathing
their mutual child.
What decree has turned them simply into foreign language
lessons.
(Divorce is the equivalent of a diploma in “termination”.)
But they are determined to exploit all the colours of the
rainbow . . .
