Dreamers
they carve flutes
they turn their faces and their hands the better to see
they practice dances with their thoughts
they remove dangerous seconds from the hours
and splinters from friends' feet
they make ready for several feasts
to celebrate the mystery of sleep
and afterwards awakening's
they let each other's blood run in their veins
in a circuit of a million circulations
they walk in the streets
