Untitled
Snow, first of the winter, early this morning.
Ochre and green take refuge under the trees.
Another fall, towards midday.
All that survives
Of colour
Is pine needles also falling more thickly at times than the snow.
Then, towards evening,
The flail of the light stops moving.
Shadows and dreams have the same weight.
A soft wind
Writes with its toe a word outside of the world.
