On Dipped Lights
Thinking the less of it I know biography’s
Unstopping its scary moment to moment fire
Of information ranging nerves tomorrows
I’ll become but tiring yawn and stretch
Think safe where drawn up shady in the text
My ‘Deus X’ immortal limousine
Pulls out ‘low overheads low mileage’
So the man said saw my name go down
For it in duplicate this once and shiny home
I dream in ‘what you wanted yes’ the question
Ran full pelt past maybe nothing I wouldn’t
Have put it quite that way long views
Escaping things I night have said it’s
Night remembers most to counsel words
With criss-cross beams devout averting eyes
