At the Window
Crazed he smashed out the window
with the black gun he’d held at her head,
crimson glass shards showered the crowd
wide eyed and gasping below.
It was easier now to judge the distance
it had to be just right.
And out there in the endless, empty blueness
a ray of sunlight glinted on a telescopic sight.
with the black gun he’d held at her head,
crimson glass shards showered the crowd
wide eyed and gasping below.
It was easier now to judge the distance
it had to be just right.
And out there in the endless, empty blueness
a ray of sunlight glinted on a telescopic sight.
