Submissions: 4 poems by post. And with SAE. And with correct amount of postage.
Via email: Overseas only; two in body - no attachments.
One piece of prose, either way; please mention word count: 500-1000. Yes, that does say: 1000 words, and that does mean: maximum.
Brief covering letter; no need for press packs - let your work do the talking.
Name and address on each poem; one poem per sheet of A4.
Please enclose SAE with ALL correspondence when response required.
Overseas: 2 IRCs (simpler still, •2 or $2): NB, response only; submissions not returned unless requested and sufficient postage enclosed.
Enquiries in UK OK via email - with something sensible in the subject box , or liable to be deleted unread.
If work is already being held on file, further submissions will not be considered.
After publication, hang on for about 12 months before sending more poems.
When work is returned with an invite for further submissions, please do not interpret ‘in due course’ as ‘by return of post’.
And with email, it does not mean send me more within the next half hour either.
In the event of an issue going online, eg at the Poetry Library website, www.poetrymagazines.org.uk, contributors retain copyright.
