mountain
tiger dappled white and blue
closely you embrace the tidal wave
the silver glacier dreaming in distance
watching itself in the mirror of danger
the chameleon basks on the iceberg of your
flanks
cooling itself in crystal
mountain of feathers
apple with transparent spine
sailing still and fast
on the leaf-thin ripple of winter smoke
silently singing witness
indifferently you watch the judgment of the
stars
your lonely compass pointing from the harbour
to violet thunder over the lake
