Growing Up
She has kids,
My sister has kids.
She sews patches
In their little jeans.
She makes a little money
Buy plenty of healthy food.
She sees her kids safely to sleep
By reading happy bedtime stories.
She comes to see me,
Says she can’t cope.
She is still my little sister
Trying to be a great mother.
She leaves after a little cry
With a great big smile.
