revolt of the clouds
the building shivers
asphalt flows like a river
the flood of headlights pricks the night
from distance to distance between the blinds
the cooling towers of SEAT and TOSHIBA
neon folk spirals acquire art like a gangster
or a moss that grows on glass
turning it to rivers of scorched sunflowers
I stumble out into the flinty light of the Gram Via
through the inevitable columns of smoke
over Montjüic the UFOs are glittering
continuously advertising sources of joy in celluloid
vast deserts stretch straight up to the sky
the crowd plays fast forward
and insomnia sings on the clotted airwaves
these songs of freedom
