Magma Showcase: Tom Duddy
Tom Duddy was born at Ramolin in the west of Ireland and has lived in Galway city since the early 70s. He teaches philosophy at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and has written numerous articles and various books, in particular A History of Irish Thought (2002). He has returned to writing poetry in recent years after a youth spent imitating Dylan Thomas and has had poems in a number of magazines including Poetry Ireland Review, The Irish Times, The SHOp, and Other Poetry.
