growing oh
electric dayglo concert
hovers over the outsider
misfit energy pumping
for a punk that I suppose I know
me, I hide my words
for tomorrow I will burn them
drawn on like dogs’ tails wagging
sail on soup spoons of the soul
on the gravy of outsider art
black eyes pouring
gutted tears of reptilian guile
hover with anguish
no longer with the young ones
just surfing on their tails
but Ozzy and Iggy is all I know
