An autumn, an airport, a train.
Calm caught between panics.
Leaving the town for trees;
yellowing, oranging leaves
sped past like pointillist tapestries
going on for miles with tunnels sealing them off.
Again my body is rising,
lipping you for miles on approach
with my eye reaching and running the horizon,
drawn up through seeming circling blue
and cumulus whites
and I am kissing you now on approach and forever
