Nelson’s
Nelson’s
on his column
who expected every man to do his duty
and who put a hole below the waterline
of the imperialist expansionisms of Boney.
HMS Victory!
he was the antithesis and complete opposite of what I understand to be
meant by
the term ‘landlubberly’.
‘Complete’ in the figurative sense, that is,
as he lacked the odd organ and appendage
but who nonetheless stood redoubtably upon his bridge.
So what I want to know is,
what in the name of Poseidon
(or any other god you may know of of the ocean)
did you make of it when he said ‘Kiss me!’
