David Floyd was born in north London in
1980. His debut pamphlet War in the
Playground was published by Hearing Eye
in 2003. He has performed poetry in
venues across London, a couple of which
have invited him back. David is a columnist
for The Morning Star newspaper and a
Director of a creative agency Social Spider.
Jacqueline Gabbitas was born in
Nottinghamshire. She is the administrator
of The Poetry School, a poetry advisor on
WriteWords and was a poetry judge in the
2004 Koestler Awards. She won third prize
in the Poetry On The Lake competition
2004. Her poems have been published in
various magazines. She has an MA in
Writing from Sheffield Hallam University.
She likes otters and good strong tea.
Louisa Hooper has been published in
various magazines and was a winner in the
Barnet Open Poetry Competition 2001.
She has lived and taught English in Japan
and the UK and now works in publishing
in London.
Martin Parker was born in North
Nottinghamshire and studied photography
at Napier University, Edinburgh. He did
his MA (Fine Art) at Central Saint Martins,
London and has had exhibitions in
Sheffield, Edinburgh, London and Poznan,
Poland. He currently plays in two bands,
Friends and Sergeant Buzfuz. He has been
working as a graphic designer since 1997
and specialises in education and the arts.
Tina Tse was born in Hong Kong and brought
up in England. She studied French and History
at the University of Wales, Cardiff, as well as at
the Sorbonne in Paris, and is fluent in French
and Cantonese. She has an active interest in
current affairs and human rights, and her main
hobbies are eating and reading.
