could barely make ends meet. ‘So, if he’s ill’,

at bay a few days more!’ Bob organised
it - Temperance Hall on Wednesdays, six-ish
till Bible Class began - and advertised
it round the village: SLATE CLUB - All Who Wish

in boxes. Membership in ’35
