He’d excited her at first; in fact
they’d had stars named after each other
as gifts. Lucky they decided on that
rather than the tattoos.
She faked it again this afternoon —
not that he’d noticed. If only
those horny little bastards
would scarper she could sneak off.
That guy who whizzed by earlier
chasing a huge black boar into those woods
- now he was constellation material,
pure and simple. And anyway,
she has gone off the kind of men
who feel the need to shave beyond
their chins.
