Depression and Hell
The bank doesn't find it funny, that I still owe them money,
The clothes I wear are need of repair
My clothes do smell but I don't care
The heat is on and I'm not well
I can't take no more depression and hell,
Rats own the house where I now dwell
Food I gather from bins that smell
But who shall I turn to, who can I tell
I can't take no more depression and hell,
A man I knew nearly all my life
Ran off with my kids, car, house, and wife,
I don't even know if they are sick or well
It's life I suppose, depression and hell,
Now life goes on with little hope, from riches to rags I'll try to cope
But what of Tomorrow or Next Year, only time can tell
I'll just hope and pray it's not… depression and hell.
