here is a revised copy of Tuning for Speed
which i refer again for publication
in The North
Refusal to do so on your part
will almost certainly result
in the boys coming round
to help redecorate the office.
i have cut it down by half (literally0
but i enclose both halves
and leave it to your discretion
as to which half you favour publish
I will not buy your book
until you publish Tuning For Speed
Regarding the Editorial Board
i find that threatening with a Blowtorch
the most effective means of persuasion.

PS this above method is often referred to as the 'carrot and blowtorch' approach

they do not usually do thing by halves
more usually quarters.
