The Day Emma Goldman Danced the Anarchist Glide
From time to time there comes to light
something which, like Guy Fawkes and those pills
that make you smile, is so extremely right
it has to stop. At Blumsky's Grills
to Blumsky's Band, when half the day
had cracked up in a pinkish frost, Emma
Goldman took certain steps in Buzzard Bay
to raise this ugly-sweet dilemma:
I would like to revitalize
certain acts - despite the music, to go
anyhow, and contrariwise
around our happy bastinado.
I thank you, E.G., for that divine upset,
who have not found the rhythm of his own heart yet.
