Untitled
Keep yourself’ pure
purely for
one
The bottom drawer
philo sophy
says
Nothing’s for
free
The puritan
man
didn’t want to
marry
But he wanted
her to
wait unsullied
unreal as
virgin land.
She wanted
a portable
man
someone she
could trust.
A man
who didn’t
need
dusting or
mothering
A man
who was
constantly
oiled & free
Yet totally
hers for eternity.
