However we tried
the shadows still touched
Paper-white swans flew over the lighthouse
We stood and watched
how the light faded
Here no one can see
when we walk hand in hand
There is only the sea and
the empty shore
There is a bone-white moon
in the blood-dark sky
and the past that has been unlocked
and keeps on flowing
over the dear warm kiss of the present
