Delightful Old Couple
Milly, an elderly tart,
hobbles rheumatically round the park
peacefully plying her trade,
earning an occasional 50p
to supplement her pension.
Douglas is over ninety
and calls himself a "rent boy."
He totters along the High Street
winking invitingly
and wheezing "Hallo, sailor!"
At their Old People's Club
where he presides
over bingo and community singing
their Vicar beams benevolently
