December Poems (1)
We say: She said nights are my second nature
Who laughs about the sale off ships
Moving house or splicing radiation
We set out to go to see the sea at Sand Bay
Through the woods the second-hand sun keeled
Potatoes lettuce sausages and a ginger-ailed scotch
Soon whisperized a blue shadow
Young all too young and not yet done
Why should return to a single-suckle beef herd
If a flock of desires does not return my woman
Who would like to be discussed by the weather
Or by the grey bones of consumption
