Revisiting
To let my fingers loose
To run in all directions on the past
A pianist of amnesia
Fleshing out its corners like a blind mans swinging cane
In a faint curled dissipation of the lucent lifting dust
Wheels of skin and other waste collecting
In the hope of self identity
Through the fingerprints of those now lost
Mosaics grubbed from under dead black earth
The weight of waste of what is left
The scree I choose to leave behind
The imperfection and the broken edge
Of boundaries to a dim define
To these companionless remains
An inferior a foreigner
This younger man that lives again
Gives proof of work with blunted tools
Of unsure angles
Spirits arched and levels spent
The unnerved license of the juvenile
Held anchored on a choker chain
