Olivia Cole is an Arvon/Jerwood Poetry Apprentice. She won an Eric Gregory Award in 2003 and was the winner of the 2003 Writers Inc (Blue Nose) competition. Mick Delap is now trying a different kind of writing after 30 years of BBC World Service journalism. Sally Festing has written journalism, five non-fiction books, plays and, since 1999, chiefly poems. Her first collection is Swimming Lessons (Hawthorn Press2002). Mary MacRae has published in various magazines and is included in the second Poetry
School Anthology, Entering the Tapestry, which is reviewed in this issue of Magma. Mark McGuinness lives in London. He works as a psychotherapist and a coach for managers and creative professionals. Andrew Neilson was born and educated in Edinburgh and now lives in London. Tim Robertson studied English in Britain and America before training as a social worker. He lives and works in London.
