THE ENGROSSED GOURMET
A gourmet cook (and amateur philosopher) who reasoned that people would rather eat than think, declared reality to be a layered system of different perceptual modes. He proclaimed that ideas, virtues, and knowledge are all stacked upon one another in a tier-like fashion while being held together with the sweet glaze of truth! When queried that his system of knowing was too complex for the everyday homemaker to make from scratch, he announced that not only was it being marketed as a premeasured packaged mix, but with two eggs, a half cup of water, and a generously greased pan, it would come out like a piece of cake, every time!
