After Listening to Beethoven’s Fifth
As if the ocean whirled
As if the air whisperedA mysterious laugh
Broke the depths of silence.
Light dripped from the face of night.A deep sigh.
Was it midnight or break of day?
The sun turned its face.
The earth with trembling hand
Touched the hand of the sky.Men, trees and birds embraced one another.
