Letters to the Editors
Alistair Campbell
I have been looking at the autumn issue of Poetry Review for some
weeks now and have puzzled as to the reason for the front cover. There is nothing in the Review to give any indication as to the rationale for choosing it.
I have now come up with a suitable piece of poetry to append to said picture and attach it here for your perusal.
Sadly I cannot claim to have penned these word and am happy merely to proffer them.
Let me have men about me that are fat;
Sleek-headed men and such as sleep
o’nights;
Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look;
He thinks too much: such men are
dangerous.
